swift springs for the 2IS is currently in production and it should be done end of the month, my friend got a set of tein H tech from Japan which has different spring rates as opposed to the US version

I don't know why they have different specs
these specs should not make a big difference but since my friend gave me an offer I cant resist and guaranteed that it will ride a close a stock, I bit the bullet I got the japan spec h-tech springs
I will reserve my review and feedback first since it is still the 1st week, but so far so good, its wife and kid friendly, and on highways and good roads its better than stock on avg to poor roads its almost the same maybe 90% of stock which isn't jarring or bad on the back

Hey, I am looking at the Tein springs as well, but I find the US item number and the JDM item number to have different drops.
The US has -0.9/-0.3 inch and the JDM has -0.8/-0.8 inch.
What did you measure with the JDM springs?
On your car, it looks like the space above the wheels are equal.

Yes it's equaly dropped but since my tires are wider on the rears (245/45/17) my fronts are (225/45/17) making my rear wheels thicker, the gap is a little bigger in the front 2 fingers loose, while the rear is 2 fingers gap (hahaha the finger gap measurement) I really havent measered them using a real tape measure but I'm pretty sure it drops ot 20mm

I have the Eibach IS250 version with stock shocks, the front have 1 finger gap and the rear has 0.5 finger gap. Very happy with this drop for a daily driver. No scrap in any driveway, no rubbing at all. However, I start to dislike progressive springs now because in autocross, cornering seems a bit unpredictable due to the fluctuation of spring rates. I am going to put coils on this IS250 soon.
On the other hand, the F Sport springs and shocks on the IS350 are great, very very comfortable like stock on street and perform super nice on autocross/track. The Bilstein shocks are very high quality made and durable as hell no matter how hard I push them. I wanted to purchase these shocks again but now they are out of production lol

About the Tein springs; you have to remember there are two types : H-techs and S-techs. The H-techs are PERFECT for those wanting a slight ride height lowering and a completely OEM ride comfort. While the S-techs will lower you a bit more and are more of an aggressive spring rate. Still somewhat close to OEM, but not as plush as the H-techs.

I ordered the Tein S-Techs yesterday.
I read a bit on different forums and it seems that comfort doesn't get so much worse, so let's see
