Default Do your rear brakes squeak???

My rear brakes started to squeak recently almost every time I stop. My 3IS have a little over 8K miles on odo right now so it is quite unusual for me to have this sort of annoyance at this mileage. Does anybody experience this issue? Do you think the dealer will fix it if brought to the attention?

I also have my front brakes squeaking. When I am at a full stop with my foot slightly loosen. I start to hear my pads squeaking like if the pads were not flat. It started when I first got my IS 3 weeks ago... and it still makes the sound..

I sort of have the same issue; mine always squeak whenever I pull out the garage as the wheel turns over, no brake applied. I brought it up to the dealership and they said it was because of the type of brake pad material used. They are tougher brake pads, but also produce A LOT of brake dust, unfortunately. So, that's the answer I got!

My front brake pad does the same as I pull out the garage every morning. My driveway doesn't have too much of an incline. Every time I am about to depress down on the brakes to stop and to turn out the driveway, my front brake pad makes a noticeable high pitch humming/squeaking sound. I never have this issue during driving, only when backing out of my garage.

Never really got a straight answer from my dealership about this and the front brake dust. The brake dust from the 350 front brake pads are a pain to clean every week.

Lexus is working on a pad fix or shim for the rear to stop the cold start squeak. No ETA as of yet

Default Brake squeal fix

pads need to be greased on the back. the caliper pistons get rusty and cause the squeak in the rear brakes

Just started to notice brake squeal on my 2014 IS350 AWD F Sport at about 6k miles.

Not sure if coming from the front or back.

Not when coasting and not under min or max braking, but under moderate braking.

Should not happen at this mileage.

VERY ANNOYING!

Any dealer fix yet?
