New is nice but when you are on a budget I feel like used stuff, if its quality stuff, is ok. I see that people post up used adjustable coil overs every now and then. At what mileage is a good cut off to consider coil overs and shocks too worn to be recommended for reuse on another car?

there's no guarantee on anything...even new sets...that's why there is usually a 1 yr warranty.

for me...i did buy used...and I regretted it. the coilover blew....hydraulic oil leaked down the side of the tube...repair would be pricey...i decided to buy a new set.
