Bought a lowered car, is there anything to raise it half an inch?
I bought an IS250 that is lowered. I forgot the name of the springs, but they did a good job. I just want to raise the front slightly so it doesn't rub up driveways. I can see that the front is a little lower than the rear so maybe making it equal would be fine. Is there something that can go in between the coils on the springs?

Actually there are spacers you can buy. i.e. Mr. Gasket 1285 (look at jegs). I'm not saying that is the correct one, just an example. The decision is yours, but in general sm1ke's advice is right. I think you'd be better off with a different set of springs or with coilovers. Lowering the car with springs without changing the shock can put undue stress on the strut. So if you are going to raise it back somewhat, you'd be doing your shock a favour by putting in taller springs, unless of course the person who lowered it already put in a matching shock.

There is another option. Going back to stock or sport package springs/shocks combo can lead to more comfort and definitely no rubbing in any driveway if you don't like lowered too much.
If you want just mild lowered, just get the F Sport springs and call it a day. It works quite well even with stock shocks plus you can buy stock shocks from classified cheap since many of the people who sell it run on coils.
If you have more money to spend and want to adjust height, dampening setting to your liking, get a set of coil, a budget one like Megan EZ Street can be a good starting point.
