TRD Pads only last 15K miles?
12K miles ago (1 year) I installed the TRD slotted rotors and TRD pads on my GS. I had my tires rotated today and the dealer told me I have 30% left on the pads, both front and rear.
That surprises me as I do not drive overly hard, rarely brake hard, and use my e-shift to slow down often.
Does this seem to be a bit to quick? I guess I don't mind too much being that these things make so much dust, looking forward to getting the EBC greenstuffs. I just expected my money to go a little further...

You should be happy that they last 12K. My TRD rear pad last only 5K and also ruin the rotor when the pad complete gone without any indication at all until its too late. I suggust you keep you eye on your pad closely. Order the EBC now. Check out Dex's sticky. Quite a few member has that problem.

Although, I wouldn't use the EShift for compression braking that much. Brakes are easier to repair/replace than transmissions.

Lots of dust means lots of pad coming off.
And Dex is right re compression braking; since the Lexus ECU doesn't match revs, you are stressing the tranny quite a bit. Imagine downshifting with clutch but w/o matching rpm: new clutch very soon!!!
Thanks for posting re short lifespan of TRD pads. CL comes through again!!
