06 IS350- i redid my front brakes/rotors last week. i am hearing a 'popping sound' from my front passenger side.. usually happens when i am reversing. and or putting it back into drive. any suggestions would be appreciated.

Did you re-use the older hardware or use new?

I purchased Akebono's Ceramic Disc Pads, and I used the hardware that came with them

I was actually talking about the caliper hardware; the old pins, clips, shims, etc.

everything old besides the shims. im actually taking it all apart as we speak... lexus must purr! no noises!

think i got it fixed.. shim wasnt tight enough on pad... hopefully that was the sound i was hearing...
