Default Shop told me they couldn't adjust toe?

I have a lifetime suspension deal with firestone but they told me last time that they cannot adjust the toe on my vehicle? They claimed they needed a special lexus tool?

Anyone know where I can get this tool so they can adjust my toe?

I just had a firestone do my toe only on mine. I watched them do it and requested it be set to 0 toe. I have an AWD tho so im not sure if that's different. I doubt it toe should be able to be set camber u might need a camber kit for tho.

Toe is adjustable on both the front and rear of the car. It takes nothing more than a set of metric wrenches. Fine adjustments are a PITA on the rear of the car. I'm betting they fed you a line of BS becasue they didn't want to deal with adjusting the rear end.

Toe is easily adjustable front and rear.
Camber is not adjustable on RWD models front or rear.
Camber is adjustable on the front of AWD models, not on the rear.
Caster can be changed by replacing the rear bushing/mounts (not much adjustment available, just +/- 20' and you'd need to order these from Lexus).

Perhaps they meant caster?

I wanted to order the lifetime alignment in Firestone but you mentioned it sucks. Can you elaborate?

They never have aligned my car to the specs I wanted them aligned. I had to take it to Lexus a few times afterwards. The only thing it helped with maybe was after the roads here got messed up I had to get an alignment several times.

Well, I've read on CL alone many members saying how poor their service dept is...whether it be for an alignment or other services in general. Plus not to mention my own personal experiences with the local Firestone; none of it good.

I have tried multiple firestones, and I can tell you that if many locations are doing poor work than that is telling about the terrible job corporate is doing. Firestone just plain sucks, you got lucky with a good mechanic that is all...
