Right front lower ball joint replacement
Do this at your own risk this is just a guide to help with the process, if unsure about some components do not Attempt and seek help.
So the Boot was torn and leaking grease for a month or so. Spring time came so finally decided to do the right lower Ball joint before it popped out on the road.
The whole process is very easy took about 30 minutes, Lift the front of vehicle and Secure the vehicle on jack stands. Remove wheel and undo the two 17mm bolts holding the control arm to ball joint. Then undo the tie rod nut and move the control arm to the front and secure with cord and jack stand to hold it up. Now just remove cotter pin and undo the main ball joint 19mm nut on bottom, I use ball joint separators they make the job easy with no impact and finesse. I have used Moog suspension products for a long time and have a very good experience with them. They use all metal gusher housings and greaseable fittings for timely lubrication and longevity.
Tighten the nut snug and then go a bit further tightening it until you're at the cotter pin hole and that's it. Torque for Ball Joint Nut is 112 Ft/Lb and Bolts to hold new ball joint to Arm is 83Ft/Lb
Check for grease in ball joint if low use a grease gun to add some. Reassemble and Enjoy
