New Struts KYB or OEM
So my uncle works for good year he can get me the KYB struts 400 total installed or 600 oem struts installed what would you guys recommend because I waited to long the rear tires are bald like no other bc I waited to long to replace my struts. Front tires still look amazing lil made I should have replaced struts a long time ago but that my fault. And what type of tires are good I drive mostly freeway but Id like something sticky and something that handles well in the rain, I have owned hankook evo 1 advan 07 and im thinking of getting the new hankook evo 2 tires any comments?

can't go wrong with KYB, if you can get the adjustable ones. The gas shocks are awesome and well worth it IMO. Oems are good for normal driving, not intended for sticky handling (ie. lowered, with sway bars.. etc)

OEM shocks will give you most comfort.
If you use OEM springs, by no mean, keep your OEM shocks. They are designed to work with each other best.
If you plan or will use lower springs, use KYB since you get pretty good price.
There are also other good options out there: F Sport shocks (made by Bilstein with Lexus specs and optimized for Lexus IS), Tokico HP Blue, Koni yellow (adjustable shocks but expensive?).
I would recommend F Sport shocks.
