2g IS-F brembo on 3G IS
For anyone wondering if the ISF front brembos fit the 3G IS:
Like the 2g IS you would need the longer ISF front hubs to fit the larger rotor and caliper. However- the abs speed sensors are different between the 2g and 3g! You will throw a CEL with 2g hubs on the front of the 3g isx50. So do NOT buy ISF hubs!!
Solution: custom cnc'd super tensile aircraft aluminum hub shims! I installed these for a local guy and they are a perfect solution at 1/4 the cost of a replacement hub that will not work out. Just thought I'd share and let you guys know my experience in case someone is wanting ISF front BBK.

The guy only had fronts but from what I know the rear holes don't line up with the 3G IS having a forward mounting caliper position. I'd have to look to see at what level of effort a bracket could be made for the rear caliper. Don't know if ill ever get that chance.

Glad you guys basically figured that out FOR Lexus!
The ISF aren't radial mount calipers so the rear is going to be a different solution if using ISF rears.
The front shim was a life saver idea as when we put the hubs on the car it threw abs light, etc. Took some troubleshooting to eliminate the hubs not being faulty and realizing the 3G uses different electronics. There's no "hub" solution except these shims

This is interesting: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Lexus-Bremb...4/192438996516
Looks like that he/she has 2g IS-F brembo calipers and is using gs350/rc350 f sport 2 piece rotors. Will message seller and ask for his rotors measurements.
according to this thread,https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sus...ake-kit-2.html the OEM 2pc rotors (355mm) bolt on 3g-isxxx: if you're using their larger calipers.
This got me thinking, maybe the 2pc OEM rotors make up the difference (instead of using the shims) to make IS-F caliper work. Only way to verify this is someone with IS-F caliper match it with the 2pc rotors.
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...n-our-isf.html on the rotor size on each car.
IS200t, IS300 and IS350 all have the same brakes: 334mm (13.1") 4-piston.
Even the larger 2-piece type brakes that the RC and GS get are only 356mm (14") 4-piston type. The only Lexus models that get Brembos are the LS, RC F, GS F and IS F. The specs listed almost sound like the RC F/GS F brakes, which are 380mm (15") 6-piston brakes. These brakes won't clear smaller than 19" wheels I believe however.
The F-Sport Big Brake kits aren't even specifically sold for the 3IS, and they were manufactured by StopTech for Lexus, not by Brembo.
I found this user: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/...7/profile.aspx and he has IS-F oem caliper on his GS350.

edit: fixed the Part numbers.
OT: 1 inch upgrade and weight saving would be to use GS/RC f sport calipers and rotors: http://minkara.carview.co.jp/userid/...334/parts.aspx bolts right on. THis was mentioned on here in another thread. 13" to 14" rotor upgrade.

Just an update on how far I've gone with this.
IS-F front caliper direct bolt on with 13+ GS350 f sport (356mm x 30mm) rotors. same rotors on the RC 200t RC300/350 f sport.
IS-F rear caliper will need a bracket and I have completed my design and waiting to get it CNC. This setup uses the IS-F rear rotors. Small modification to the rear caliper will be needed to fit this on the knuckle. I had to grind a small area before sending the calipers off to powder coating.
With any BBK upgrade, dust shield either gets replaced, cut off or modified. I will be modifying my dust shield on my car to fit the larger rotors. You can swap out the front dust shield for the IS-F shield. The rear on the IS cannot be swapped out with any other model lexus.
BTW, This entire IS-F setup above and my bracket can fit a number of other lexus models too.
Here's a kicker.. RCF/GSF front calipers are also direct bolt on with their OEM rotors. their thicker caliper and rotors have the right offset for all the models listed above. the rear calipers will just need a redesigned bracket. These caliper set are still too expansive for me to test and verify. Maybe in a few years once prices go down and I still have my lexus. I can design one for everyone. I believe the rear is only off by 5mm on the mounting hole.
Small batch of brackets will be made out of aluminum 6061. complete front and rear brembo bbk under 1500?? cheapest bbk ever?
some might just want to get the front is-f caliper and slap on the fsport rotors and call it a day. many cars now do this with 6 piston front, small dinky bracket caliper in rear.
also, for anyone that has OEM 14" f sport rotors on their car such as the GS350 f sport and the RC200t and rc350 f sport owners; they can buy ISF front caliper, powder coat them and slap it on their existing rotors for the BBK upgrade. the dust shield is already the right size. or go the extra length and get the rear caliper, rotors and my bracket for a bolt on setup.
So there you go. no shim needed like the OP mentioned. No need to swap hubs, sensors, etc. direct bolt on.
I will have pictures up soon.

^ So what you are saying is 3IS owners can upgrade the FRONT brakes by installing:
1) 2G IS-F Calipers
2) GS/RC F Sport front rotors
And with modification to brake shield OR 2G IS-F front brake shield?
No adapters/brackets necessary?

CENTRIC StopTech Street pads front and rear set are $99 on ebay.
Here are some aftermarket 13+ GS350 f sport rotor options: https://www.zeckhausen.com/catalog/i...4173_5661_5663
c-tek models are $57 or stoptech for $92
I will post pictures and all pn/products I'm using on my setup. goal is a cheap low cost BBK.
I agree, stock brakes is fine. but this is an option for others to not spend thousands on BBK.

Good point. Can just get the rotors aftermarket. Trick is the calipers. $800 minimum used. How about remanufactured ones? Wonder if Autozone does that.
Also... what about just RCF/GSF calipers? or is it just due to availability/price, you recommend the IS-F ones?

I see them pop up here and on ebay for 1200 for a complete front and rear caliper with no rotors.
Theres a really clean full set of IS-F caliper in that for sale area too. they were freshly powder coated silver. I believe his price was 1000?? not bad for powder coating and rebuilt newly slap on stop tech front rotors and rear raybestos and you're set.
RCF/GSF caliper front with rcf/gsf rotors will bolt on no issues at all. It all comes down price. plus you must run 19" wheels or larger. front rotors are 14.9" (380mm) and 34mm thick. cheapest i've seen is complete calipers only for 1599 on ebay. Rears have the same rotors size. calipers is larger in mass due to having 4 piston rear calipers.
centric has remanufacturer calipers for around $280 but needs a core for that price. they haven't been in stock for ages.
