what are these? coilovers or lowering springs? why so cheap and will they work?

Looks like you put an oem strut inside that spring.

It appears to be a shorter lowering spring that you can compress (preload) to lower the ride height even more.

No specific engineering for you car. Your oem shocks are not valved for what I assume is a higher spring rate. They don't even mention spring rate in the ebay ad. You have to preload the spring to lower the car more whereas most new coilovers designs have adjustable mounts that don't preload the spring. You already make sacrifices with real coilovers, I'm sure the sacrifices in ride quality/longevity are ever greater with this. All that being said, it's your money, but I don't recall anyone on this site having those. I've had megan ez's onmy car the past few years.
