Fsport BBk kit not fitting 2009 Awd IS250
So i drove great lengths to pick up some parts off another member, one of them being front and rear Fsport BBK. He has a 2008 IS 350, I have a 2009 Awd IS250. When we went to install the shims off his car (bbk) they wouldn't line up. After looking up the part numbers for both vechicles, they seem to be the same, but yet won't fit the awd, why???? Any input from somebody experienced with the Fsport bbk on the awd would be greatly appreciated!

Part Numbers are the same for Front BBK according to Sewell. Rear p/n are different but not sure why. What I found looks conflicting.
IS250/IS350 Front - PTR0930102
IS250 Rear - PTR0953109
is350 Rear - PTR0953110
Where did you have problems? I know for a fact the RWD knuckles are the same between IS350 and IS-F. The shims with the FSport bbk are the same and they aren't side specific...they should bolt on if the knuckle is the same.....they may be different though between AWD and RWD:
Was the issue up front with the knuckle? They are different between AWD and RWD it looks like-
Knuckle Steering 43211 and 43212
IS250:
Left - 4320153020
Right - 4320253020
IS350
Left - 4320153010
Right - 4320253010
If RWD knuckles solve your issue I have a spare set from the IS-F I can sell you cheap.
IS250/IS350 Front - PTR0930102
IS250 Rear - PTR0953109
is350 Rear - PTR0953110

the 06-08 is350's rotors have different offset spacing than the 2009+. I think in 2009 is when both AWD/RWD rotors were the same so anything from earlier models wont fit

straight from Jeff Lange, maybe shed some light:
^ here he is referring to is250 rwd vs awd, and is350 rwd vs awd (i think)
There are 2 types of IS250 front brakes, they either have 28mm thick rotors or 32mm thick rotors, and which ones the car has can vary depending on year and country the car was meant for. The calipers, rotors and pads all need to match. For North American IS250 sedans:
2006-2008 USA models use the 28mm rotors (produced from 08/2005 to 09/2008).
2009-2013 USA models use the 32mm rotors (produced from 09/2008 to 04/2013).
2006-2010 Canada models use the 28mm rotors (produced from 08/2005 to 08/2010)
2011-2013 Canada RWD models use the 28mm rotors (produced from 08/2010 to 04/2013)
2011-2013 Canada AWD models use the 32mm rotors (produced from 08/2010 to 04/2013)
Models with the 28mm rotors came from the factory with the high-friction (and high-dust) Textar T4146 brake pads (low dust alternatives were available from Lexus after the fact). Models with the 32mm rotors came from the factory with the low-dust NBK D6893H brake pads.
Models with the 28mm rotors use the same rotors for left and right while models with the 32mm rotors have directional cooling vanes and so the LH and RH rotors are different.
The brake calipers will have a mark on them stating which type of brakes they are (either marked "60-28" for 28mm rotor type or "60-32" for 32mm rotor type).

AWD and RWD have the same brake fitment with the exception of the front hubs needing more clearance for the rotor on AWD models.
Not sure why they wouldn't fit. Is it possible you got the sides mixed up, or something else weird? Maybe a missing part, or something else?
The caliper to knuckle fitment is the same between AWD and RWD, IS250 and IS350.
