Default 16k 14k springs?

Is anyone running 16k 14k setup? I have megan coils and I am looking for a stiffer ride. Question will these spring rates keep the car from scraping as much? Also if anyone is running this set up how do you like it?

A few of us are running those spring rates or very near them... although from what I remember, most of us doing so are on Swift springs. Are you planning on just swapping out the springs, or going with a different coilover?

Honestly, unless you, or they, are able to revalve them it would be in your best interest to sell them and go with another brand. Otherwise, what you'll end up with are coilovers that are over sprung and under dampened, which would equate to an extremely crappy ride.

* For reference, "some" manufacturers would say that it's acceptable to go +/-2k in regards to changing the spring rate without sacrificing ride quality. But what you'd be doing by going up to 16/14k would be +6k on each end of the car (both the Megan EZ and LP are equipped with 10/8k spring rates front/rear...).

exactly what NorthStyle said, you would want respective valving with the selected spring rate if you care for ride quality.
