Upgrading front brakes to IS350?
Hello,
I'm
Considering upgrading my front brakes only from the stock IS250 to IS350. Just wondering if anyone has done the fronts only as I don't see the point in upgrading the rears. Just wondering if there is a noticeable difference to justify the cost.
Thank you,
Chris

as for braking power, in slow cold conditions, its not really noticeable. But once the brakes warm up, there is a significant difference in braking power IMO. My front tends to squat a little more than before under hard braking. The one thing I didnt like is now braking in the turns feels a little unbalanced since its a larger rotor up front and the same small rotor in the back. It caused a little over steer but my AWD whips right back. Overall, is it worth the money? I would say so!

Actually not really, its all the same price since lexus made changes on some of the later models. The 09+ Rotors fit on ALL models. I have 2009+ RWD rotors on my IS250 AWD. 06-08 are the only models where the RWD rotors are different. My 350 brake conversion cost me about 450-maybe 500 on parts alone. I did the work my self so I saved the labor cost.
