Tokico Illumina Advanced Handling Kit for mk4 Supra
ive been looking into suspension upgrades for my sc400 and came across the tokico illumina advanced handling kit for the supra. the kit comes with illumina struts and tokico lowering springs. i found a post about this kit on the club lexus forums, but its from 2003 haha. i was just wondering if i could get some more info about ride height drop on these, if the springs are already mounted to the shock, spring rates, and if i will have to worry about any tire rubbing, and if anyone else has any pictures of this kit on their sc, that would be awesome.
i have supra tt wheels with 255/40/17 rear and 235/45/17 front, but i do intend on getting 275/40/17 for the rear when i need new tires.
heres a link to the kit: http://www.raceinspired.com/p-6686-t...1994-1998.aspx

I checked the link and continued my search with other sites. They are all posting the same thing. It appears they are to be close to OEM specs and would be a safe bet to say at least an inch drop, IMO. I also looked at the same setup on other cars, VW and Mustang, both close to a one inch drop if not more. For the money they seemed to have gotten good reviews for the quality of product. For your wheel and tire setup you should be golden, even running 275 in the rear. I have the same wheel setup and I am running a 275/40/17 in the rear. I am lowered on Esplier all the way around and have no rubbing issues, keep in mind I have the black metal trim/lip removed out of my fender wheels also. I also have 15mm ICHIBA spacers in the front and still no rubbing issues. When compared to what I have I think you should be able to run what tire size I have and these springs w/o any rubbing or future concerns, but maybe not low enough once settled. JMO.. Good luck on your choice and sorry I couldn't help you any further.

I am assuming since they will work in our SC, I am safe to say you can reuse the SC top hats. If you need to reorder them, then I would order the TT one's just to be safe. You might even want to cross match the numbers online.
