Default My GS400 corners like a Buick!

Hey again!

I need a little assistance picking out a strut bar and shocks.

I'm at 170K, and I' recently noticed less-sporty cars than mine can handle corners better. I'm getting passed by sentras and corollas around corners. I have so much body roll that I don't feel safe going too quickly around corners anymore.

I'm thinking about getting a front and rear strut bar and replacing my shocks. Will this be enough to make a difference?

My tires are at correct pressures and everything else on the car seems in order.

I'm currently thinking about getting this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/98-99-00-01-02-03-04-05-LEXUS-GS300-GS400-TCS-FRONT-AND-REAR-STRUT-TOWER-BAR-/281236311677?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Model%3AGS400&hash=item417afd8e7d&vxp=mtr
But I don't know if it's worth the buy, and I'd also like to find some middle-of-the-road shocks. Nothing too cheap, but nothing too expensive but quite honestly I'm out of my league when it comes to shopping for suspension.

Any info/brand recommendations would be helpful.

It'd make a much more noticeable difference if you upgraded your sways (or even changing the bushings) before adding strut bars.

^^What he said^^ I would invest on some TRD sway bars front and rear first. You would definitely feel a difference, one of the best mods. I've done

I feel the same way! I was wondering what to replace to make my car handle better on curves at highway speeds, hate having people in trucks pass me, I know the GS wasn't really known to be a great sports car compared to its competitors but It must have handled better when it was new, gonna try some new tires first though
