Airrex suspesnions digital upgrade for Air Runner Basic Management on LexusIS250
As many are not familar with AIRREX Suspension digital management is universal and many know that AirREX makes an great strut system but AirREX also make a very accurate digital management system that is pressure based.
Many might ask why pressure based?
1. When designed right a pressure based is just as accurate as an height based system when hitting your set height presets.
2. Easy installation and no need to install height sensors.
Recently we did an upgrade and reinstall of an Air Runner Lexus IS250 with basic management system with an AIRREX Digital Management system.
Here is the Before we did the reinstall. What we found wrong was very poor installation as the Tan, compressor and ground were all screwed down using wood screws. Customer was having issue with compressor not turning on some times. A quality install will provide years of trouble free opperation.
Compressor was bolted down using wood screws
Ground was also grounded using a screw.
Tank was bolted down with wood screws
Here is after we redid the install and installed the AIrREX Digital Management system with Manifold valve. We still have to make a new cover
not done yet we will be making a custom cover with pexi window.

No spare tire...but to the point of saying that a pressure based system is just as accurate as a height based system is completely wrong.
What happens when you put 4 people into the car? If it is pressure based, the car will sit low. If it is height based, it will go to the set height no matter how much weight you add or take out of the car. That is why a height based system will always be more accurate and easier to use than a pressure based system. Heck, my accuair will even adjust height when I am stopped on an incline/decline to level the car out...that is accuracy that a pressure based system can't provide.
