Default Annoying Brake Squeal

Anyone else experiencing this. Only occurs first thing in the morning when backing out of my garage. Loudest, high pitched squeal I've ever heard. Car goes in to dealer to have this looked at next Thursday but just curious if any of you are experiencing the same problem. Thanks all!!!

Have you taken your car in yet?? Mine goes in on Thursday so I'll provide an update on their findings. I expect they will disassemble the brakes, clean them and possibly add some additional anti squeal lubrication and maybe new shims. Whatever they do I hope it's resolved because it's annoying and sounds like an 83 Ford Escort when I back out each morning!!

F Sport brake pads are high-friction, you can change out the brake pad to non-f sport and see if that helps.

if you want good braking, then you gotta live with a little noise and unfortunately dust. One of the reasons why wheels are painted darker

Yep, but still a nuisance. I can't wait for EBC to make some redstuff for our cars!

You can try using some brake quite grease on the backside of the brake pads where the piston pushes on the pad

I went to take my car in to the dealership and they said that there was no squealing from the brakes... BS. And he said that my brake fade is at a 9. Thats is all i have gotten. Do you drive aggressively?

Just started to notice brake squeal on my 2014 IS350 AWD F Sport at about 6k miles.

Not sure if coming from the front or back.

Not when coasting and not under min or max braking, but under moderate braking.

Should not happen at this mileage.

VERY ANNOYING!

Any dealer fix yet?

If your brakes squeal, that usually means the pads need to be replaced. New pads for the f-sport 350 are around $80 at the dealer.

I got my brakes & rotors replaced.

Still squeaks especially when I try to brake lightly. Hot or cold, doesn't matter.

Sounds like it is coming from my rear brakes.

Very annoying and a bit embarrassing especially when I am going over speed bumps in a parking lot at the mall. It's like I can afford a luxury car yet can't afford brakes that doesn't squeak, which isn't true lol

Someone told me it's because the brakes are semi-ceramic which causes a lot of dust, thus creating the squeaky brakes.... Uh really?

did you replace with OEM pads? You should try aftermarket pads, heard that helps. I am getting my EBC red stuff pads installed tomorrow. Will provide an udpate soon

The dealer replaced it so I have no idea what they used I'll call them in a bit and ask. I just realized today that my steering wheel squeaks while reversing, great... I didn't expect such problems from a new car

Dealer most likely used OEM pads, which are known to squeal and squeak.
Edit: and dust like crazy :P

No wonder it still squeaks. It's been squeaking every day/time I drive for the past month & I doubt I can go back, 6 months later, and complain again lol

Let me know how the EBC works since I have no idea when it comes to cars and cars parts. That was my dad's thing
