Default || FIGS Engineering 3rd Gen IS Suspension and Brake Development Thread ||

Hi all, the 3rd gen suspension and braking are on our list and we are pleased to offer at least some carryover from the second gen in terms of front suspension components and braking upgrades. We are evaluating the rear and interested in what setups many of you want to run.

Earlier this month we had the opportunity to run several parts on the N1 Racing 2014 IS250 AWD as it competed in the 25hrs of ThunderHill.

We ran our 2IS front BBK with 2P rotors as well as our rear spherical bearing mount for the front lower control arm. The front suspension is common with the previous generation making our upper adjustable camber bushings and lower control arm #2 bushings compatible. We feel that at least the #2 bushings will again prove to be an essential upgrade to curb inner tread wear caused by deflection during driving.

Current offerings
Front upper control arm inner bushings, +/- .5 degrees of camber

Front lower control arm rear bushings for toe stabilization during braking

Upgraded front lightweight aluminum 4 piston caliper brake kit with 2P open-slot floating rotors.

We plan on working on several kits for the rear including an upper link kits as well as lower arm replacements. Please feel free to drive our development with discussion.
Thanks Mike

Very nice to see there is more parts becoming available for the 3IS.

Does FIGS plan to make any rear suspension components, I am particularly interested in rear camber arms.

so I was painting my brake calipers this week and decided to take a gander at the sway bars. I noticed the rear is located in a very inconvenient location going over the diff and rear suspension. Bracker bolts look really hard to access. Thankfully it is thicker than the stock 2IS sway bar and looks on par with the 2IS F Sport sways. Have yall seen any room for a good improvement for the sway bars? I wouldnt expect 2IS gains since the 2IS rears way bar was a coat hanger and the 3IS is pretty stiff looking already.

rear links are in house and we will look at them in a week or two. Its not so much about demand at this point, but our ability to get to it and determine the best solution, range of adjustment and impact to all models especially those with active steering.

Consider compatability with the GS also. I hear they are similar.

What (edit: FIGS) suspension upgrades are currently available for the 3IS 350 F-Sport?
