Hello, so I just finished my ls400 bbk upgrade (at last only took a month to get 2 banjo bolts from japan)
I bled the brakes and all that fun stuff.
But here is my problem, when I first start to brake the pedal goes to the floor, but once I let it come back up and press it again I have amazing braking power.
What could be causing this?

Did you bleed all 4 brakes?

yes.
I did it in this order.
right rear, left front, left rear, right front.

im wondering since the master cylinder ran dry, if something is wrong with that or maybe something with the abs unit?

I don't recall how many extra bleed points we have besides the 4 corners but generally ya should bleed the ABS and MC if you ran dry.

chances are you let the fluid get too low when bleeding and you should be starting from the left rear if i am not mistaking

Generally you go longest line to shortest. Or rather, distal to proximal.
Both rear lines are the same length so it wouldn't make a difference.

it wouldnt cause his problem either way but i am pretty certain the lines start from the master to left front then to right front goes straight back the right rear then over to left rear making the left rear maybe the other way around i cant remember but it wouldnt cause his problem either way

The rears split off a single basically midline common brake line. The front are separate lines.

I don't think its the individual lines anyway. Either a bad MC or an ABS/MC that needs to be bled.

is there a bleeder screw on the abs?

and for the master cylinder do i need to take it off of the car?
