Can't believe the rear spring install is so involved! I installed S Techs on my 06 G35 coupe and it was just one bolt to lower the spring bucket and throw the new spring in. Took about 15-20 minutes for each rear side.

Almost looks as if it's the same process with this car, except one extra bolt because the shock is actually mounted on the spring bucket...so is removing all those sway links and ball joints necessary on the rear install? hard to tell from pics. Thanks!

Hey everyone…so today i was gonna buy me a set of these from one of the forum members on here…part number is: SKL90-AUB00

and so i called TEIN customer support and they said that it will absolutely not fit the AWD…and that it is only for the RWD…the rep said that the mount for the rear is different in the AWD from the RWD…so i ask mount? what mount?…and he goes he doesn't know, that's all their notes says…

so my question is…what is the difference between the RWD and AWD suspension mount on the 3IS?

i thought they both share the same suspension, front and rear?…can someone with a RWD take pics of their setup so that i can compare it with my AWD?

it would be sooooo much easier if there was a service manual for this car...

Installed S-Techs about 2 weeks ago so it's just about settled.

As far as drop is concerned I agree. Ride quality and preference might be another story.

If i'm not mistaken the spring rates are nearly identical with the Teins being harder in the rear and the RSRs softer in the front. Don't think you'll be able to notice a difference, really.

Default does year matter?

I own a 2011 Is250 and im thinking about buying some Tein S lowering springs, this guy is selling some that he was going to put on his 2015 is250, he tells me that they will fit on my 2011 just fine. i would feel much better if i got a reply from one of you guys telling me if this is true or not before i buy something that wont ft on my car. Thanks! Michael
