Default Jerking and brake pedal doesnt work

I did my brakes done both front and rear and also I had to replace to new calipers because they were all rusted. As I was driving back my brake pedal is hard and coming to close to stop sign it starts jerking like three or four time before coming to a full stop. I took it to one of the local mechanics and he said it can be the brake booster because of the air noise coming from the brake pedal and I took it to another mechanic and he said there's air in the line and he has to bleed the brake line. Idk what to do anymore I don't have a lot of money to spend on the car and I'm running out of options and idk who to take it to. If someone can help me out that'll be a great help.
Thanks

air in the lines causes a soft mushy pedal feel, so I doubt bleeding brakes will help, though it certainly won't hurt...

if you hear a whooshing sound when you depress the brake pedal, then I would suspect brake booster...

when you say jerking three or four times, can you be more specific? Like pedal feedback (ABS possibly?), wobble in the steering wheel?
