Anyone on lowering springs on SC300
I am planning to lower my car but not go crazy low, just low enough to look good and have no issues driving anywhere. I am still on stock suspension, but im interested in seeing how low people have gone with lowering springs and how comfortable they are.
Post up pictures of your SC with lowering springs.
Please mention the springs you used on your car along with pictures.

Tein, eibach, tanabe all give ur car a one inch drop. Espiler gives u a 2" drop. I say get coilovers. That way u can adjust it whenever u need. I almost got springs, but soon realized that coilovers are twice as easy to install.

I have Eibach lowering springs off a Supra matched with Bilsteins. Springs aren't my style nor are they low enough but it was a must until a full coil setup was in the budget. Honestly, depending on the tire size you're probably gonna rub everywhere anyway. Our cars are pretty heavy and just lowering it on stock suspension is going to still drive like a slush box.. If you want more control and to go low then by all means, save a couple hundred more and go CXracing or Megan as stated before. They seem to be reviewing just fine.

I honestly love how our stock suspension is, coming from a 93 LS which just floated over everything the reduced body roll I got in my SC was exactly what I was looking for, lol I only rubbed because I chose to go lower than most, tires kept rubbing in frame rail, stepping down to a 225/40 didn't help I didn't stop rubbing until I went 215/35.

the budget coilovers are the way to go. plus when you buy springs, you have to buy shocks, and by that point you have just spent as much money on a set of budget coilovers. if your not looking to do any drifting, then get the megan or CXracing coilovers

I have Megans and am happy with them, they could be a little smoother but you cant expect too much from a $800 coilover. Gixxer drew setup always gets great reviews, but isnt dampening adjustable, only height.
I would always stay away from just lowering springs, and save up a few hundred more and get a proper coilover setup.

No, this isnt a drift car or a drag racer. Its just a daily driver. Snow or rain or sunny if i gotta go i gotta go pretty much. There is no stopping. I just dropped the 1jz for fun lol .
I am just wondering are there gonna be special discounts on coilovers on black friday? Im trying to get Coilovers+ wheels+ tires all together and get it done with. Will change control arms etc early net year.
A lot of you guys didnt post pics, even if you had coilovers i just wanted to see how all of your cars looked like with coilovers. Please post a pic if you can,
Thanks,
