is there a DIY for: Diff Sub frame Cushions/Mounts removal

update with some mods
Since it looks like i wont be getting new upper arms for a while in the rear; i decided to get some Energy Suspension Prothane Bushings for the stock stuff. With the crazy prices for Eau Rouge and Ikeya Formula, I'll be using the stock stuff for now just to get the car back on the ground. These are very high quality and the installation seems like a cake walk. I'll eventually sell them and get what i really want.

I saw a TT diff in DFW for like $200 like a week ago. the stocker will work until you get LSD. i bet you'll get one way before she gets outta the garage.
congrats on the rear prothanes. cant wait to see it all mocked up with the bv links and such. some dont use the bushings. i vote for staying away from aftermarket front CA's. you've mentioned the ikeya's, price really isnt the issue. more adjustability would be nice but they need to be able to take a beatin'. stick with BV and keep the rest as is. the rears are ok to get.

i think i remember seeing that diff on Craigslist. i ended up just passing on it. the Kazz 1.5 new is around $850.00 so i thinking of just saving to get it. as far as the upper arms; ill wait on the BV stuff and just use the stock units to move the car around in the garage. im not even using the traction and toe rod bushings ( for sale btw CHEAP!) then ill sale the rear uppers which im putting the bushings in today
almost ready to go back in:

definitly going to be an eyecatcher and perform as good as it looks! makes me wanna go blow more money, I'm putting some aside but holidays are coming up and money goes everywhere.. one day...
seriously hope things work out for you. that lady you got it from has no idea how much effort is going into the car.

The only things needed to finish the suspension are:
BV Front Upper Arms
BV Rear Upper Arms
(Aftermarket) Sway Bars
BV Rear Sway Bar Links
Then i can turn my attention back to the ENGINE!!!

I guessed your metal sleeves got rusted and stuck. On mine, I sprayed some WD-40 into the metal sleeves and let them sit for 1 hour. I then just put the press's rod onto the middle metal piece of the bushing and pressed the whole thing out with ease. The rubber bushing pulled the metal sleeve along when it is pressed out at the same time, too.

you know; you really find out how strong you are when you are doing ALL the heavy moving and lifting on your own when you work on your car! i can definitely say that the 1hr weight training that i do 5 days a week pays off.
I finally got the sleeves out of the arms, high temp painted black and was able to install the Prothane units. I was starting to see it all come together then Then it was time to get dirty
After it was said and done; the suspension went back onto the frame with very little compromises. And it looks JUICY

Awesome build.. Love that you too the time to clean and paint the stuff.. I have a sc300 2jzgte single gt42r n v160.. 800hp.. But my suspension is junk soo I'm going to be going over it all this winter.. Not many sites with sc300 suspension parts or custom parts except for coil overs and camber junk. Anyone have any sites for sc suspension parts as in bushings, control arms, traction bars etc? Hp freaks has some but again nothing really made for street cars with tons of power...
