Tein S.Techs
Most likely will be purchasing Tein S.Tech lowering Springs tomorrow.
The only questions that I have before pulling the trigger and confirming the purchase are as follows; Would my is350 rub with my stock 18"s, and also if I eventually decide to upgrade to aftermarket 18"s or 19"s later would my is350 rub with the Tein S.Techs
Thanks,
Veach

Been doing a lot of research on springs the past couple weeks and I keep changing my mind. I havnt seen the drop I'm really looking for. Does anyone know of any springs that drop the is350s 1.2" front 1" rear?
Thanks,
Veach

since you may upgrade your wheels in the future you may want to consider coilovers, you'll be able to dial in the exact height you want when you want... i know its a little more expensive initially, but may save you money in the long run... plus coilovers are easier to install...

I originally had planned to get springs and coilovers, swift springs and bc racing coilovers to be exact. But at the moment I don't want to spend $1200 on suspension. If I can find a set of qaulity coilover for $500-$800 I would buy them in a heartbeat. I dont know much at all about coilovers bu I've done enough research on these forums on coilovers to know not to skimp on cheap coilovers. So I'm kind of at the point where I want to get springs for now, and maybe coilovers in the future if the springs don't end up being enough.

They won't. You're better off waiting for what you want.

I installed the bc racing coils w/standard 10k/8k springs about 5 months ago and I am extremely happy with them, the ride is great... originally I planned on doing just the f-sport springs, but after doing research, I decided to do the bc racings. The ability to change the height, and dampening made the extra money spent completely worth it...

FWIW, if you don't ever plan on driving with aggressive wheels or super slammed, Megan EZ coils are cheap and reliable. They're spring rate is low so that's why I say if you don't plan on getting aggressive wheels (car will travel more than the stiffer coils). I had them before I bagged my car and they were good.

The coilover comes with the spring and shock combined, no need to order separate springs...unless you had some specific requirement you are trying to accomplish. some who drop their cars extremely low opt for a stiffer spring to keep from bottoming out... call circuit motorsports in Orlando and they can advise you on a good application for your specific needs.

Thanks for everyones input. I think Ive changed from teins, and springs altogether, to Megan EZ Street coilovers. Should be ordering them in a couple of weeks.
