Y'all should get adjustable end links. When you lower the car, the OEM is too long and the sway bar is no longer level. I'm not sure how much of a difference it would make, but it's something to think about. I've read somewhere that the sway has max efficiency when level.

Figs engineering sells one for the 2IS.

Just rec'd the F&R F-Sport sway bars for my 09 is250 rwd and am thinking about replacing the end links based on their condition. Member GiantsFan states that their could be an issue with the efficiency of end links on lowered rides.

Has anybody had any issues with the end links or their sway's with OEM size endlinks?

Anybody using the Figs end links?

Thanx for your input.

^No issues here to report. F-sport rear bar only with aftermarket OEM replacement end links.

For the record I have no hard proof that the sway bar is more efficient or works better when flat/ level (compared to the ends pointing up with the OEM end links) ... its just something i read somewhere. But it does make sense as it would probably affect the way the bar handles the stress and bends ...

I will switch out my end links eventually - as one of my OEM is slightly bent

I too am wondering if i should change my end links to figs aftermarket links when i get my F sport sways. Would the sway bar become more effective with figs links. What the benefit of the aftermarket ones?

Does anyone know if a IS350 AWD has different end links from the RWD? I'm having the same issues with not being able to get the nut off the end links and need to buy some new ones.

Also, what online store are people using to get parts now that Sewell closed down?

For the rear, they are the same for AWD and RWD.

Reviving an old thread as I am now looking to get end links for my rear sway as well.

I checked out the Figs end links that GiantsFan posted a while ago and I was wondering if the Sikky ones below fit our 2IS.

https://www.sikky.com/product/lexus-...-bar-endlinks/

The sikky ones are $44 cheaper than the Figs ones.

I just grabbed the sikky bar and endlinks off eBay slightly second hand. I just need bushings for the bar.

I wonder if if there’s a major difference between the fsport bar and the sikky.

Check the diameter on the sikky. The F sport is 19mm.
Another thing is the sikky has adjustment holes. The closer to the bend it will be stiffer.

To the point of the poster who said they don't know if bar position and ride height matter, yes it does!

With the car on flat level ground the relationship of the bars mounting point to the bars end point (link connection) should be an equal distance to the ground to fully utilize the effectiveness of the bar.

Think in terms of the center of the bar at its mount and the bar end center being parallel to the ground.

In short it will be most effective when the links form a 90° angle to the bar.

If your bar is too stiff you can purposely move the mount point lower or shorten/lengthen the end links to reduce its effectiveness.
