Default new rotors

Yeah, I put on two new rotors. The originals went 41870 miles. Put two new rotors on the front and vibration is gone. Whew ! So new pads from Sewell and two new rotors from NAPA. Interesting part is the rotors already had the center area painted/coated black.. Not bad looking at all.

After the brake vibration was taken care of, I had them put two new Bridgestone Potenza S-04 tires on the front. The Dunlops were done. I had gotten 21k out of them and they were singing very loudly.
We'll see how this goes for a while. Thanks for your help gville350, I think I can keep an eye on those rear brake calipers now. They cleaned up very well and the car feels good again. Stops on a dime.
I guess every spring I will take the rear wheels off, and clean the pins that hold the pads. Then take the bolt out of the top of rear caliper, let it tilt down, Slide the caliper off and clean that bolt the caliper rotates on, and some clear grease for it. Make sure you get that small rubber seal back on its lip when you put the caliper back on.
Have a good one !

^Great to hear! The Napa rotors were more than likely Centric blanks, which are good replacements.

You will extend the caliper life with that schedule; good work!
