So do you know with certainty that the supra lca will work on 97+ sc?

Yes, the mounting points themselves are the same for all model years. It's the lca that changed for the 97+ models, which is why the bushings from the 92-96 my don't interchange with the 97+.

I have purchased a set of 98 arms to verify.

^ Mike, looks like I can't do the compare pictures thingy for your product Mike. Received the bushings last week, don't have time to do it. I'm letting someone else doing it so not gonna have time to take pictures. But will definitely let you know if it fit or not

So my mechanic went ahead and pressed out the bushings and messed up the outer metal casing. Is there a way to hit the figs bushings in after that? If not how can I get those outer metal casings?

Ah man, do you have any pictures? Those sleaves need to be in there for proper fitment. Not sure how bad they are.

Luckily my mechanic fab up some outer sleeves and was able to make it fit snug in there. Sorry I don't have any pictures of the process. FIGS bushings are official in and car feel just find. To me, it feels just like stock. no complaint here. So for future reference for anyone that are using FIGS front LCA bushings on 97+ front lca, it's easier to burn out the rubber and gut it out to leave the OUTER casing or sleeve intact. After that just clean it up and press the FIGS bushings in.

A NTB tire store in Decatur/Atlanta, GA just tried to instal front lower control arms on my SC300 for $900 each. The bushings are worn out after 320,000 miles. I have not trusted tire stores for decades.

It should work. I believe the 92-00 UCA has the same part number for all years.

Our bushings are made by Superpro Australia, akin to Whiteline however they offer a lifetime warranty regardless of track or offroad use which says a lot. They contain features to retain grease instead of displace it. We removed some Prothane bushings out of our sponsored drift cars and they were not only horrible on tolerance ie. the crush tubes were loose in the bushing, but they lack any sophistication on molding features or grease retention.

We keep both versions in stock but the above arm was a 1994 SC arm, so kinda throws the application boundary into question. This is why we have consolidated on a single application for all USDM SC's.
so which one is it for a 1997 sc .. you sell 2 sizes but yet your above statement inplies one consolidated fit

You will need to buy both of this from these two links
http://shopfigs.com/v1/SC%20SC300%20...product_id=193
http://shopfigs.com/v1/SC%20SC300%20...product_id=194

One is for the both front sides of the lca the other is for the both rear sides

Also, please make sure to burn out the old bushing, pressing out the old bushing will most likely crush the outer sleeves that is needed for the FIGS bushings.

Please look at the FIGS picture above you will see a shiny sleeves inside the lca, THAT MUST BE THERE IF NOT YOU WILL HAVE TO FAB UP NEW SLEEVES!

Sorry didn't have pictures of the installation, didn't have time so my mechanic did all the work.

sorry for the delay on the video. We never got to it with the last sets of bushings being sold out. I did however discover why we have 2 bushing applications. One is actually for the control arm without the factory outer cup and one is with the cup remaining(the one listed.) I am working to update the application and bring more bushings in.
