Default Speed sensor on rear axel on 98 GS300

My mechanic, after replacing my rotors, calipers, pads and cleaning speed sensors discovered broken teeth on my rear axel. All this to try and fix my abs coming on at the end of my braking at slow speeds. He now wants to replace rear axel. I don't have the $$$ to do this now but I would like to disconnect my abs so I don't get the pulsating brake pedal. I know there are 3 fuses for the abs. One Is in cabin and 2 under hood by battery. Of course I do not want to disable anything but ABS.
I could not figure out how to remove ABS 60 amp cartridge fuse under hood but was able to remover ABS 2 40 amp fuse. This lit all the lights on cluster and I seemed to lose any power braking. Not an option. Is there a way to unplug speed sensor harness? Can anyone help me locate this with a pix?
Or any other solutions to only disable the abs portion of my brakes temporarily until I can afford rear axel replacement.
