Figs 17mm RCA's for 2nd Gen GS (new version)
I bought LS4 4pot calipers a few months after purchasing my GS3 and it has been on the back burner since building my race car. I finally decided to get the needed RCA's only to find out Mike had a new version. Mike assured me they were just as good as the originals just at a better cost, so with all concerns put to ease. I made the purchase!!!
What I received was well packaged.
The installation was straight forward. Jack the car up, remove front wheels and remove the stock 17mm bolts that hold the LBJ to the bottom of the spindle. I am running after market LBJ's so this may have been the reason but I had to remove the powder coating on the insert where the sleeve of the LBJ slides together with the spacer. It was very simple. Dremel with a small wire brush removed the powder coat and gave the needed clearance. Now I just need to buy some rotors and pads, then install.

Think you meant Mike from Figs GREAT stuff from him so rest assured ! Car looks good
Waiting on the new 2GS '01 + caster arm bushing (non-sperical) as well so these could go on together in conjuction with my BBK. ETA is like 2 weeks for caster bushing. Bolts were back ordered for the RCA's anyway so it works out for me.

It has made a world of difference updating the front end. I still have the UCA's left to do but they are still in good shape for now.

850lexus, when turning the wheel while on the ground, do you hear any clunking from the RCAs? I have the exact same RCAS and no matter how tight I torque the bolts, the clunking won't go away. All other components on the car are either fine or brand new, so I already know it is the RCAs.

I have sage rca's and don't hear clunking from rca's. They should be solid cause they don't have moving parts and you torque them to 90lbs. So I would assume your clunking is from something else.

I just put 17mm RCAs on my lowered GS (BC coils). No alignment needed. I put mine on a laser alignment machine and the camber came into alignment just by fitting them.
