will a sway bar make a difference
Hi,
I have a 2010 IS250 w/ 17" wheels and it handles ok....could be a bit funner. I don't need a track car but I'm wondering if a rear sway bar will make a difference in cornering etc...don't want to put too much $$$ just wondering if a 'sportier' sway bar is worth it's weight. Anything else besides a sway bar that won't break the bank?
Thanks in advance.

I've read up on people's experience with them and found that I, personally, would rather do the whole set up rather than just the rear as kentaro stated.

I'm with you GiantsFan, I want to throw springs on for the looks, but the rear bar would probably net a better result overall. And I thought I wasn't going to mod the IS... I'll probably end up with both, just was trying to avoid the mod bug on this one...
As far as doing both bars, yes, that is the right thing to do and would give you better balance as they were engineered to work together. Upgrading just the rear will probably induce a little oversteer, but 99% of people probably wouldn't notice unless they were tracking the car.

One other question, it sounds like replacing the front sway bar on an is250 is not the best bang for your buck. Many have gone w/ just an F-rear sway bar. Is this ok?
