I just picked up a 2002 IS300 with a HKS Hi Power cat back already installed. It sounds great at WOT, and not loud or harsh during normal driving.

I agree. Just put my spare one on last night since it was sitting at the shop getting overspray.
Was running the HKS Super Dragger,a bit quiet...... I'm liking the deeper throaty sound of the Greddy Evo2

It might look hacked and sketchy beyond all reason, but it sounds amazing.

Is it better then the current tanabe medalion touring exhaust ?

Couldn't tell you as I haven't heard the medallion touring on the IS300.

I had the GReddy RS on my last 5 speed. Has a really nice, sporty sound. Not as deep like the HKS Hiper but I do like that style over the oval mufflers
