1999 Sc300; Front right ball joint rotted out

Do I need to replace the whole lower control arm?

The oem one is $725, are there other options?

Any help is appreciated.

Toyota supra arms are cheaper around 340 Per arm I think, Contact Curt at Elmhurst Toyota and he will get you a good price and ship it to you.

Last time i checked I believe that Carson had it for around $240-250 for a supra lca.
Also funny part is I have a spare 98+ front passenger control arm.Ill take a look at the ballljoints and let you know

Ah thanks! mine is a '99 says it wont fit.

I found a used one from LKQ for $120 shipped. Ive bought from them before and they have a good return policy so its worth a shot. Ill post up when I get the used one!

Can anyone tell from a picture if it is te correct one?




My friend has this for $50 off a low mileage sc300.

All the seals are good and the ball joint is good. It looks exactly the same as the one thats broken on my car. Mine is definitely not aluminum and neither is this one.

The only difference in later years is the metal sleeve of the bushing, the later years' metal sleeve in the bushing have a bulge in the middle. The entire thing is exactly the same. None was made in aluminum for the SC's.
