Move to Air Suspension
Hi Guys,
I'm thinking to move from coilover to air suspension. The reason I want to move to air suspension so that I can go as low as I want and able to get into my house entrance. See below picture how my car touching the ground every time I get in my house entrance even those my car is not very low.
My option is go for UAS bags which will installed on my existing coilovers. It can be controlled with smart phone if I get the Accuair i-leveling. Below is the link of the item FYI.
http://www.universalairsuspension.co...cle-p-128.html
http://accuair.com/product_elevel_amp_rockerswitch.html
My questions are:
1) Do you think the above option will be better than K-Sport Airtech Pro in performance, cost?
2) Have anyone had this set up on their car now? How was the ride?
3) If I want slam my car what other components do I need?
4) How much is the installation cost?
5) Any recommendation on the installation shop around Southern California?
I"m totally new with air suspension, "zipppp experience".
So any answer or suggestion will really appreciate.

I have KSport Pro Plus...
1. Yes, it will likely be better. I-Level or E-level will be added benefit.
2. I have KSport Pro Plus.
Everything works great, rides smooth, EXCEPT the preset heights/pressures. If youre wanting/worrying about ride height presets, KSport sadly doesnt do it well. Theyve told me how to troubleshoot (lower the coils more), but i havent done it.
3. Bags, coils, compressors, air lines, air management, miscellaneous fuses/relays (should come with accuair management i assume) and youre pretty much set.
4. I paid (too much). About $1k. Would have done it myself (and have since re-installed it myself), but the electrical work scared me at first.
5. I dont live there, sorry.
Good luck. KSport is great, just presets are based on pressure not actual height so it's not very good for what you need it for. I eventually want Accuair i-level as well.

Call Zack at UAS in San Bernardino, give him what coilovers you plan to run on your IS and he will make brackets for you. Some coilovers require modifications, the coilovers that do not need much modifications are tanabe pro spec 5.
