IS300/2GS calipers would need a bracket. Plus IS300/2GS rotors and piston size arent any bigger than an sc300's rear brakes, thus being a similar sized brake pad. The only upgrade would be that exta piston, providing more clamping force, plus, it looks nicer lol.
i am upgrading my front and rear brake system right now. i am using some wilwood superlight calipers because they are inexpensive. but you have to make your own bracket. 12 inch rotors front and rear. and the MC that matches the required flow and pressure of the calipers. i wont have more than about 250 per side and it will kill any of the big brake kits out there. if you understand how the brake system works you will realize the bbk are useless without the supporting mods such as upgraded lines, correct MC upgrade. i will be posting pics of my setup soon. and how i made everything so u can see what i am talking about.
just changing calipers and rotors wont do a whole lot make sure u replace all fhe rubber lines make sure all hard lines are good and use good break fluid
i remember reading on here somewhere that the stock rears were best matched with LS400 fronts, so changing the rears was pointless. dont remember the thread but it was a huge thread about bbk's
