Default Stock rims w/ coilovers

Will installing coilovers affect the tire thread on stock wheels/tires?

No they won't as long as theres no rubbing but most likely some natural negative camber which would wear the inside of the tires over time.

after you set the height of the car after installing coilovers, take the car in to an tire alignment shop and have an wheel alignment done.

As long as you can align it to spec there should be no problems.

With that said, sometimes guys go so low that they can no longer align to spec without some aftermarket parts.

But more most modest lowering of 1-2", you should be fine.
