Default BC coils vs Fortune Auto coils

I just purchased 2008 IS250 AWD. Planning to order coils and exhaust this weekend btw. I have set my mind for BC because of awesome reviews by CL members on here(thank you!).

I would like to know if anyone have fortune auto coils for their 250? and how is compare with BC?

Any tips, info.,are welcome...thanks!

Fortune is above and beyond the quality of BC. They are much more robust and those that have them in the MR2 community love them. They are also very track worthy. I have a set with Swift springs waiting to be installed on my mr2 as well.

I paid close to $1700 for my set with the upgraded swift springs on a group buy from a vendor to give you an idea.

Im just wondering if its worth or not. I can get BC for less than $900 and 10/8k spring rates.

There is nothing wrong with BCs for daily use. They are arguably the best bang for the buck for budget coilovers.

i have had BC coils, stance and fortune auto all installed on my previous car. material wise, they all feel exactly the same. all are made in taiwan besides stance which they are built in korea the last time i talked to stance usa but they say made in japan on their boxes.

these are all lower budget set ups so you really can't go wrong. i can't say what type of road and development are behind them though.

I'd say it definitely depends on the cost differential between the BCRs and the Fortunes. I can see paying a premium for more quality components; but at what cost.

I've had experience with Fortune Autos on an S2000 and they were incredible. I'm seriously considering getting a set for the IS.

The Fortune autos actually have nothing over the BC's.

They will perform about the same and you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between either.

If you want to get a custom set of BC's with Swift springs for an even nicer ride we could do that for you.

Hit us up, we sell a lot of different suspensions and we will be glad to help you choose one that's right for you.
