Glad a solution was found so quickly. Usually it is a shim and greasing issue.

My pads aren't completely gone on my 07 IS AWD (I think they have 20-20k miles left) but they are squealing too (since December. I surmised it as my shims contacting the piston (on one side) and the caliper (on the other).

That's good that the issue was resolved swiftly.
