Default Best Coilovers for Daily Driving?

I want to get coilovers that would allow me to lower my car to get rid of the tire gap however I don't know which direction to go. I have heard that BC Racing is very good but I also heard that Megan EZ Coils rides very smooth. Any advice on which direction I should take?

Depending on your budget, BC Racing is upper tier sub $1000, and Megan EZ if you can't afford BC. Megan LP is closer to BC Racing in terms of quality.

BC Racing is known for having beefier internals.

I have BC Racing coilovers with 12k/10k setup and have tracked my car with it.

The properly set up coilover will ride very smooth.

Agreed ^^

Honestly if your not looking to track your car, you will be fine with the EZs. If you want a more adjustable ride and got the extra $$$, then get the BCs

However I heard that the BCs has rear clunking noise problems. Is that just from poor installation?

and what's the difference between 12k/10k,12k/8k, and 10k/8k setups? I know its how stiff the springs are but whats the difference that it makes?

I have Megan LP's and love mine. Megan EZ's some have complained are too soft. How low are you looking to go? Are you planning to run agressive wheels? That's usually the issue. Otherwise if you just want to lower it for street use then the EZ's will be fine if you're worried about price.

Stiffness at max isn't bad. A little more of a rough ride than stock but it isn't bad. All depends on your preference.

yeah i agree, it all depends on the person and i guess roads in your area. Also which ones to get would depend on the amount money you would want to spend, i've head that both brand are really good.

If you're eliminating tire gap and not slamming, camber kits won't be necessary. Can't say forsure though until you drop it and get an alignment.
