Default Supra tt tokico hts shocks and lowering springshi

hi every one and happy new year. I just purchased a set of tokico hts shocks and lowering springs for Toyota supra tt and KYB rear strut mounts for supra tt. But when I intended to insert the shock in the strut mount hole it won't go in. The flat surface won't let it go in. Anybody here have this setup? Any ideas?

Listen goku, IIRC, the top of the shock has a rectangular shape, as does the shock mount

I recently just installed bilsteins and tein springs and had a similar problem. The threaded portion of the shock was a tight fit and I too was worried about damaging the threaded shaft on my new set of shocks. In my case, I made absolutely sure that the alignment was correct and I very gently (hand pressure only, no tools, mallet etc) wiggled the top hat onto the threaded shaft. It also helps if you test fit the top hat without the spring loaded into the shock. It worked for me and no threads were damaged. Good luck.
