aftermarket springs work on OEM shocks?
#2
They might however, damping properties of the stock shocks wont work properly with those drop springs. The shock will always think that is compressed (shorter springs??). I am not a suspension guru. If you need more help I suggest checking out my.is.com. there is a lot of info there too. I think you wont be able to fully correct the tires to be fully square to the road way, unless your into the cambered look.

You will be fine. They will work. Everyone talks about go full coilovers, don't do it on stock struts, springs on oem struts are gonna ruin your performance handling...but lets be honest here, who all really auto cross, race down a track, drift their cars?

Aftermarket springs will certainly work with the oem shocks. I would not recommend changing them if the oem have a high amount of miles on them especially if you drive the car hard. If you drive the car in a normal fashion your oem will be fine. If you feel that you need to change the shocks then I would look into KYB or Tokico replacements. These are more stout than the stock.
