Long as you installed it correctly it ain't your fault.

Do you still have the rubber dust covers on your shocks? If not, that may be your reason. Dirt is getting in there.

I've never seen struts blow that fast. Would the dust covers really cause them to blow that fast?

I'm not sure but I'm going to take it back to the shop that installed and tell them to check and replace the dust cover.

It appears the GR-2's can't keep up with the progressive spring rates of the ASD's.

I disagree. I've had Espelir ASD springs and GR-2 on my car for the last 40K miles (rear) and 20K miles (front). They are still feeling strong.

im gonna have to agree here, on my white SC i had the ASD's springs with the GR-2's shocks since 2010. Sold the car to a friend that drives it daily and its still going strong on the same set up

Not sure on those struts. I have had zero problems with Tokico Blues with these springs.

Thanks for the input, it did seem unrealistic that his shocks kept blowing.
speedmike, maybe try buying those shocks from a different retailer?

Must be an issue with installation. I dropped it off yesterday they are gonna repair it for free. Hopefully they get it right this time!
