What coilovers use rubber top mounts?
Any other coilovers out there that have either rubber top mounts or use the stock tophats?

I specifically asked for pillowball upper mounts with my BCRs because not only do I believe they are better, but the majority of all of the BCR owners that complain about having the clunk noise...they purchased the set with the "standard" rubber upper mount. I'd be curious to see how many coilover owners actually went with the pillowball mounts instead of the rubber.
Here's a good short clip about pillowball mounts from Tein : "Pillowball upper mounts are designed to offer greater feed back by eliminating the deflection in OEM rubber bushings. A NWB spherical bearing is used in place of the rubber bushing, which allows for improved tire grip and more accurate wheel alignment."

iirc, tanabe sustec 5's and one of the tein offerings reuse OEM top hats.
i thought BC racing gives you the option to reuse your OEM top hats as well.
though, i've never had clunking issues w/ megan racing LP series coilovers. can't say the same for other coilovers offerings.

EVERY coilover setup I have had with aftermarket pillowball mounts make the clunking noise. On my Supra alone I have had 3 sets of Teins and 1 set of HKS coilovers and they ALL make the clunking noise. I would highly recommend using the oem mounts.
