Default 10 Spoke GS300/350 wheels clearing LS400 brakes

I'm a forum vet and pretty good with the search function and Google but haven't found this answer.

My SC400 came with these wheels and due to a sticky caliper, I would prefer to just go to LS brakes. I found this thread with an LS430 running the same wheels but I don't know enough about caliper/rotor changes through the years.

https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...004-ls430.html

Here is my car, specifically

From what I can find the wheels are either 17x7 or 7.5.

How much clearance do you have between the wheel and stock caliper?

I just measured about 7/8", which I think answers my question as I read the LS rotors are 1" bigger alone.

LS430's use an updated caliper, dimensions gathered for for this caliper may not be correct for the LS400's.

I feel like the only way to test it would be to yank my rotor and try to fit an LS400 rotor under the wheel.

You actually just need to fit the caliper.
