Ive been doing research but I would like to hear some first hand experiance from coilover guys if possible.

Ive been bit by the modding bug and ive decided to finally get a new set of coiloversto go with the other goodies ive ordered, what I am looking for is a set that can of course lower my car significantly, be fully adjustable in height and stiffness, also I think I would like a more stiff ride as opposed to a soft and bouncy ride.

I am not tracking or drifting or doing any other racing type activities but I would still like a set that helps with performance and 'improves' the feel and not take away from it.

What I do not want is a set that ruins the ride of the car by making it bouncy and bumpy like I have seen happen to people before when they swapped out factory suspension.

Im looking to order a set as soon as i figure out which brand to buy so any help is appreciated.

im running 14k/12k on my gs300 extreme drop kit from BC coil i love it!

my old 8/6k setup with Tein CS coils were expensive as heck and bounced a lot.

my suggestion for u (which I should have done) is find members who live around you and are willing to give u a ride in their car so u make the right choice the first time around

Good advice, I'm running BC's with the standard spring rates. I love them, I do wish I would have went with custom rates now so I will probably order new springs in the near future but I'm not upset with my purchase one bit. Definitely refresh your suspension components when you do the coilovers and save yourself some hassle down the road.

I'm on custom bc with 16kg F / 14kg R, with extreme drop kit, no complaints so far

I'm on Megan LP with 12/8 and am very happy for a street application.

If I had to do it again I would consider these or BCRacing since I've heard they have a thicker strut shaft for durability (similar to Bilstein dampers)

Best bang for the buck - IMO:

BC racing coilvoers with Swift springs. The ride should be very good on the street and handling will be much improved. they are adjustable for both height and damping so you can set them up however you'd like.

Pros:
- Height Adjustable
- Lightweight
- Increases Wheel Clearance/Takes Up Less Space
- Cool Factor ;-)

Cons:
- Expensive
- Although many brands are built well, you can't expect the same durability as you could with OEM coils/dampers. I will admit that there are many examples of people running these problem free for years.
