brakes not working, i hear air when i press down on the brakes
so yesterday my brakes wasn't responding when I was reversing out of the garage. luckily!
when i step on the brake pedal all I hear is air. their is a really strong and stink smell coming from outside the car. don't know where? my sc300 is automatic and my shifter seems to be hard to shift into gears. kinda stuck feeling. and today the car starts to bog(as if its about to die out) when i step on the brakes. can you guys help me out?

you check your fluid levels? also if you hear air, and the pedal goes to the floor you may need to bleed the system or you have a malfunction. check lines, check brake booster, and check for leaks.
hope this helps,

I have the same issue right now. It still brakes, but I have to press on it a bit harder than usual before it It bites the way I need it too. I also hear air when brake pedal is not completely depressed. But I know for a fact that my right caliper has sticking pistons already 'cause when the front end is on air/lift, the wheel doesn't spin as freely as the other side. I already have LS brake calipers for upgrade as well. I'm just waiting For them to come back from polishing so I can rebuild, and waiting for new rotors too cause mine are all glazed up so they squeal really loud too. Annoying problem IMHO.
