Default F-sport Shocks

So I believe that my front shocks are dead (not leaking) but not working effectively based upon the ride quality and tire wear patterns.

Well, This gives me a chance to put on new shocks. After a lot of back and forth, I am seriously thinking of going for F-sport shocks, but do not want to lower my car.

So the question that I am trying to find answers to are:

1. Can I use the F-sport shocks with the standard factory springs because I do not want lower ride height?

2. What other parts would I need to order while changing them out? Mount, Bellows, spring insulator, bushings, etc?

Also, what is this? Do I need this?
48680 4868053030 SUPPORT ASSEMBLY, FRONT SUSPENSION

Your help is very much appreciated.

Thanks!

Hey, I am discussing the F-sport shock with Lexus of North Miami and their take is that you do not need the spring seat / perch for the F-sport. In their own words as a response to my email, here is what they say

"Your suppose to use your with existing shock tower that's in the car already."

Is this the case? Or do I need the spring seats to go with the F-sport shock absorbers?

Yup, you use your current existing spring seat with the F-sport shocks.

The F-Sport springs don't lower your car that much, somewhere between 1/2 to 1 inch. Yes you can use the Bilstien (F-Sport) shocks without changing the springs, but hey, what fun is that?

That's why I suggest it to OP since he/she doesn't want to drop the car, but a little less wheel gap always looks better!

How do the f-sport shocks ride compared to factory shocks if you have factory springs?

Props to Lexus of North Miami. Ordered on Monday afternoon. Shipped the same evening and I have it in my hands yesterday. The F-sport shocks do come with the nut, shock collet and Spring seat/perch. Steve from Lexus of North Miami is very responsive and quick to respond. No delays. But no way to reach him by phone. Only email. Always answers within the hour.

The car stands a lot higher now. The factory shocks were *shot* and the huggers at Sewell Lexus kept saying All Ok. What a bunch of crock.

Took it out for a long 30 mile drive. First impressions: This what should be standard, for those cross shopping with BMW. Long, yet firm travel. Not for the regular Lexus customers. Amazing.
