Will stock up parts over the winter
Plans:

Now, what others are necessary? i have my cousin telling me i need reinforcement plates, strut mounts? what are your guys inputs?
Other things i've seen:
Front upper control arm? (only ones i can find are on ebay)
Different camber kit for 2nd gen?
All input is welcome, please let me know

how about a spring shock combo.....I have eibach pro kit with bilstein sports....Rides really nice...My friends say it's like an oem sport setup...your simple drop...seems like a total makeover.

Just buy the Megan EZ coils, drop the car about 2" all the way around and you'll be fine. You don't need strut tower bars or anything. If you want to get better handling the best way to achieve that is buying TRD Sways. You can get F/R from Sewell Lexus with your CL discount for under $500.

I have the megan lp I did a pretty big drop and the only prob I ran into was camber is not zero'd out and toe is a little out in the rear I daily drive my car so tire wear is a prob for me... So if anything besides the coils I would say grab the camber kit and toe links if you want to try and conserve your tires...

Simple drop.. Coilovers. I would disagree on on the shock and spring combo if you decide to go lower in the near future unless you decide thats gonna be you "forever" drop. That way you can adjust accordingly depending where you're at. Your cousin is somewhat correct depending on the mileage on your car. If you're the first owner then good. If you're the second owner then I hope you have records of what's been done on your car. If you have high mileage then I'd definitely change out old parts for new oems or reputable aftermarket parts just to be on the safe side if need be. If your car has low mileage for its age, then coilovers will just do and work your way in replacing other parts with no rush as you put mileage on your car. Strut bars is just for handling and has nothing to do with your "simple drop." Camber would be ideal for any dropped cars. Hope this helps.
