Steering Damper Installed: DIY tips and review
Installation was easy, the hardest part was trying to figure out how to remove the cables from the airbag housing.
FYI- The yellow tabs pull up, then you can lift the cables out of the airbag housing. The rest of the cables are basically self explanatory.
FYI-You will want to convert your T-30 Torx tip from your screwdriver, to a rachet. Unless you have the world's strongest forearms, you will need a rachet. (To remove airbag screws)
After install-I could immediately feel the difference. Steering felt a bit heavier, smoother. When going over bumps or gritty road surfaces, you feel it in the car itself, but not in the steering at all. I am very happy with it, especially at $26+Free DIY Installation. Highly Recommend!
