Need some advice from CL members who have Akebono Pro ACT908 front brake pads. My gf just bought these pads for her 2010 IS 250 and they are not the same size as the OE pads, they are about an inch smaller from top to bottom. We have a Canadian version of the IS 250. Every site I went on lists these pads to fit 2009-2011 IS 250. I purchased these pads off an American site (RockAuto).

Can someone please confirm if the Canadian and US IS 250s use the same front calipers?

You need pads for an 06-08 USA car. 09-13 USA IS250's have different front brakes.

Thanks Jeff, I knew you'd be the one that could help me.

Same goes for the rears or are they all the same? Also why the hell did they make the brakes different is the question lol

Rears are the same for 2006-2013 with the exception of 2011-13 F-Sport models, which use the same rear pads as the IS350/IS250C (vented rear rotors versus solid).

Canada/USA are the same for the rear.

I'm from Chile, I have an IS250 2010, so trought ebay I bought rotors and pad, and do not Fit, so thanks for your info.
That mean I have to buy the rotor and the pads for a 2006-2008 IS250 model?

The rear rotor and pads are the same in US and other countries for 2006-2013 right?

Is it ACT1178 that we're supposed to use for Canadian 2009 IS250 front?
